Workshop Rules &Â Materials
In-Person Workshop
â—¦ A classroom/lecture hall setting
â—¦ Projector
â—¦ Flashdrive with your PowerPoint and activities*
â—¦ Working audio and image on Projector
â—¦ WiFi access for both you and your participants
â—¦ Paper copies of activities and feedback survey**
â—¦ Printouts of questions you'd like to ask during discussion
* If preferred, you may connect your own laptop via HDMI to the available projector, or access your content through your email instead of using a flashdrive

** In this workshop, SurveyMonkey will be utilized to conduct in-workshop activities; you can either choose to use SurveyMonkey (just make sure participants have online access and a phone or laptop to complete it on), or draft up your questions on a worksheet that will be passed out during that time

Virtual Workshop
â—¦ Confirmation that all participants have internet/electronics
â—¦ A means of presenting your workshop content*
â—¦ Electronic forms of your activities**
â—¦ Working links and videos, if used
â—¦ Descriptive prompts and helpful directions
* You can conduct your virtual workshop however you see fit: Wix, SquareSpace, and WordPress are some options. You can also simply put together a PowerPoint presentation including videos and links

** If you are choosing to utilize SurveyMonkey for your activities, make sure it is accessible to your participants. If you originally planned on using paper copies of activities, instead email them or provide the links to them in your virtual workshop so participants can still complete and submit them

Whether your first option, or second option, virtual workshops are possible and can still be as effective as in-person workshops. Get creative, and make sure you are available for your participants in case they need guidance!
